Kasey Kleyn Overcomes Adversity for Dual Top-Five Finishes at Tucson Speedway
Tucson, AZ – Jan. 19, 2026 — Kasey Kleyn delivered an impressive weekend at Tucson Speedway, competing in two marquee events and showcasing both speed and resilience. Kleyn earned top-five finishes in both the Spears CARS Tour West Pro Late Model race and the 16th Annual Chilly Willy 150 Super Late Model event, despite facing multiple on-track setbacks.
Kleyn unloaded with speed, qualifying inside the top ten in both cars. In the Spears CARS Tour West Pro Late Model feature, Kasey started 11th and quickly moved forward through the field. While battling for third place, he was spun and sent to the rear of the field. Refusing to give up, Kleyn charged back through traffic to reach the top ten before being forced into the wall while trying to avoid another incident.
After bringing the car to pit road for repairs with 40 laps remaining, Kleyn returned to the track and once again drove through the field, ultimately finishing a strong 5th place in a race won by NASCAR Champion Kevin Harvick.
In the 16th Annual Chilly Willy 150 Super Late Model main event, Kleyn once again demonstrated front-running speed. He raced up to third place before being spun and sent to the back of the field with approximately 70 laps remaining. For the second time during the weekend, Kleyn methodically worked his way through traffic, charging back to finish 4th against a deep Super Late Model field.
“It was a weekend that really showed how fast our cars were and how hard this team fights,” Kleyn said. “No matter the setback, everyone kept digging.”
The Tucson weekend highlighted Kleyn’s ability to rebound from adversity, maintain composure, and compete at the front in both Pro Late Model and Super Late Model competition.
Kleyn continues to focus on long-term development both on and off the track as he works toward the next level of his racing career. For more information on Kasey or to become a marketing partner, visit https://kaseykleyn.com/
